Semi PGP

NOTE: 5 April 2006

There is a problem with the conversion. Seems the cocking arm is to short There are issues,so it's on the way back to mark for refit. It was really nice work. We will get this done and have it ready to play.

Started off with a regular 2k PGP. The goal was to turn it into a semi. It started off rough, but with the help of Mark's customs it can out fine.

Removed the upper body

Removing it wasn't very hard. I just used a tourch. The picture is of another PGP. I didn't take one as I took off the top tube. The pic is more for effect.

The Frame

I chose the Sovergin frame because of the out side 3 way. I really didn't want to mess with an internal 3 way. Plus this will make it different for a while. That's until Rainman 229 starts to put these out as a regular upgrade.

Sample Photo 3

I went with a sonic LPR. They are very small and fit perfect in the lower tube.

The Belsales 44 Magnum Ram

When I build a gun I really research parts and people. I chose this Ram because of the shaft. It was new on the market at the time. The Rams that PPS use have the same shaft diameter. Not sure about the throw. How ever I took the chance . I read that normal cocker rams do have issues as they wear.

So off to Mark's Customs it goes

This is how it was going to leave, but I got my Sovergin frame back in time.

I received this photo a few day after it arrived Marc's Customs

The body had already been Powder coated,Feed soldere and special mount made for the Ram. But he wasn't happy with the work. Marc decided he was going to experiment a little.
